Videographer

Job Description

As a Videographer at JSQUARE, you’ll plan and shoot video content for brand films, advertisements, social media, events, interviews, and client campaigns. You’ll work alongside our creative, editing, and production teams, from pre-production planning to on-set execution, to capture footage that is visually striking, on-brief, and ready for great storytelling in the edit.

Key Responsibilities

• Shoot high-quality video for brand films, advertisements, social media, events, and client projects.
• Plan shots, angles, framing, and camera movement based on creative briefs and storyboards.
• Set up and operate cameras, lenses, lighting, gimbals, and audio equipment on location and in studio.
• Capture clean audio for interviews, testimonials, and dialogue-based content.
• Collaborate with creative, editing, and production teams before, during, and after shoots.
• Organise, back up, and hand over footage to the editing team in a structured way.
• Maintain and take care of camera, lighting, and production equipment.

Requirements

• Hands-on experience with DSLR / mirrorless cinema cameras, lenses, and stabilisers.
• Good understanding of composition, lighting, exposure, colour, and camera movement.
• Basic knowledge of audio recording and on-set sound.
• Ability to interpret creative briefs and adapt quickly on set.
• Willingness to travel for shoots and work flexible hours when required.
• Basic editing knowledge (Premiere Pro, DaVinci Resolve, or similar) is a plus.
• Portfolio or showreel showcasing previous shoots is preferred.
